In the present day, no corner of the earth is not affected by the advent of technology.
It has started running in every vein of social structure. So, it is very less likely not to affect the
the business sector of society. The most prominent effect of technology in management or in the
the organization is to increase efficiency. It also assists the management to work with more ease.
Basically, the more important reason for choosing technology over any manual substitute is
technology saves time. Management is benefitted from technology in more than one way.
It affects the management and organization on two levels- macro and micro. At the micro-level,
technology affects the human resource and accounting sector, communication process and
marketing of the product. Technology has also created an impact on increasing the brand value
of the product and reaching to a great mass of people. At the macro level, technology affects the
global economy; it helps the organization to establish its brand on a global level and improvises
it is standards. It also helps in creating quality.
Looking at the micro-level, it can be seen that technology affects the most important pillars
of the organization i.e. human resource management, accounting, and administration. All the
the basic necessity of the micro-levels is solved with software like CRP and ERM. These have
helped to provide all the data of an organization in different formats for a different section
of society. The biometric system has also helped in solving and saving time in keeping
a record of the attendance of employees. Communicating has also been improved and changed
overtime. In the initial days, immediate communication was not possible. But with the
the invention of e-mail and instant messaging applications, the management can inform about any
sort of urgent meeting or gathering without much loss of time. If an employee is sent to some
other branches for work their progress can still monitor my emails and messages. At the macro
level, it helps the organization to create a space for itself as a brand in the global market. It
also helps the company to be aware of other organizations facing the same problems and come
to a solution.
